95 Sebring

I have a 1995 Sebring with a 2.5 v-6. The engine runs fine up to approx. 2200 rpm at which point it starts to run on 3 cylinders until approx. 3400 rpm. At this point the engine smooths out again. The car is currently in the shop (non chrysler) where it has been for 6 weeks. The mechanic has checked wiring, sensors and changed the "computer" out 3 times. Nothing has helped. The mechanic has stated that the car is running lean.

Any suggestions would be appreciated short of torching it.
