92 Si - Stock LS w/Turbo......now what?

ok so i got the turbo and i'm running it at about 6-8 psi cuz i don't want to hurt the stock engine too much. i want to raise the boost but i don't know what to do next (really, i don't know shit about cars, i just got into this recently). I've asked some friends about what to do next and most come up with the same answer. Make it LS/VTEC.....BUT, i also hear thats not good for w/e reason (compression ratio). i've heard do some cam gears or sleeve it. Help, i don't want to make a mistake i'll regret later.

Screw the cam gears, they are worthless. Sleeves, rods, and pistons. Then get a quality engine management system, or else all that engine work will be worthless.

depending on the size of your turbo, i would say go 10psi and see if you satisfied with that. your motor should be able to handle that, assuming tuned good

Re: 92 Si - Stock LS w/Turbo......now what?

I recently blow my motor (Stock LS / T3 out of a sabb 900) I was running 11psi. That was fun, even when it last me two weeks.
well, just get it tune before you push it to hard.. tunning is the answer!!!
