I would go with the Koni Yellow. i have KYB AGX now and they are ALOT better than stock, not just a little. But spend the little extra and get the Yellows, they are better. i dont have a Cavi but same basic idea.
Oh, about the stock shocks and lowering springs, you can do it, but yes they will blow out soon. Besides lowering springs alone wont improve your handling that much, your car will still roll from side to side. springs and firmer shocks will give you much better handling.

Thanks alot for all the imput I am going to save for the koni yellows and good set of springs for 1.2" or 1.5" inch drop any suggestions on springs?
