battery light
Anyone have suggestions, My battery light comes on after my 2001 Escape sit for 6 hours or more when starting up. If I drive about 3 blockes it goes off. I don't notice it running any different or starting hard. Changed out the battery that did not do it. Any clues?

Nevermind I found out what is was. Turns out it was the water level light. I guess the sensor sits low in the overflow tank so you need to keep it up to or above the line for cold level. It

Yeah, that little picture of a radiator they used for the low coolant light sure does look like a battery when you are driving down the road and can't take the time to really look close to see the slight difference. I was also fooled for a couple of days.
