Long tubes are best but EQUAL LENGTH SHORTY HEADERS are almost as good, and easier to install. You can also go with unequal length headers but they're not as good as the equal length but are very easy to install. You DO NOT HAVE TO GET RID OF THE 02 SENSORS TO GET RID OF THE CATS! You can get H-pipes or X-pipes with out the cats (known as off-road pipes) and still use you 02 sensors. Besides, if you do not have o2 sensors your check engine light would come on.
