the low oil light comes on intermittenly, when the oil is full. Is there a bad sensor somewhere? Please help.

Re: 1995 Monte Carlo - low oil light comes on sometimes
It's either a sensor or wiring. The sensor is located on the bottom of the oil pan on 3100 engines. It may help to clean any oil from in and around the connector. Also make sure the wiring going to the sensor isn't rubbing anywhere or pinched.

i'd put money on the sensor being shot.
