1999 GC Limited

Im thinking of purchasing a 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited for 6000. i went and test drove the car already, rides, shift, and looks smooth. they dealer selling it told me that it does need a rear axel. 600 fix. so 6600 for this car. little info. 105000 miles, V8 4.7 4X4. leather sunroof, heated seats, LOADED with everything. think this is a god deal. it sounds to me like this is a great deal. im currently driving a 1995 chevy blazer 4X4 with 197000 miles. reliable but getting too old. anyone want it? haha. thanks in advance

I don't know if its a "god" deal, but it does sound like a good deal.
As for first model year bugs, it has few minor ones, but most should have been fixed.
One I can remember...check the middle, center dash AC vents and make sure they are moving air.
