I have a 93 Mercury Cougar xr7 and it won't accelerate above 25 mph. This just started about 2 days ago. It accelerated just fine previously. Any ideas on what may be causing this and what needs to be done to fix it?
thanks ~jessica~ |

I assume its an Automatic Transmission... My first and only guess would be that its your Transmission. Sounds to me like it wont come out of 1st into 2nd -- might wanna have someone take a peek at it.
