will any small mods(other than turbo or swap) improve the 2.2L engine?

I have a 1997 Impreza brighton coupe with a 2.2L engine. Any way i can get my car up to maybe 180hp or so without a turbo?

If I can't, what turbos would you guys recommend?

cold air intake, header, catback and pully's will get you around 180 hp..ive done it...

i had borla headers, apexi n1 cat back, unorthodox racing pully, and injen intake...300...450...150...150...there are other brand the only thing u need to know is that most part for the 2.5 rs work on the 2.2 impreza...except for the headers.....catback...pully...and intake all work interchangably
