Re: 94 3800 Supercharged in 87 Fiero
A 94 Bonnie engine will work... Yes, you will need the computer and harness. The 5 speed will bolt up, but you'll have trouble finding a flywheel and clutch for a 3800, and if you do it's probably going to be expensive. The automatic will bolt up, but I'm not sure the torque converter will fit the 3800 flexplate. Also, the Fiero's Turbo Hydromatic 125c may not take the abuse of a 3800SC. The best automatic to use would be a late model Turbo Hydromatic 440 T4 or a Turbo Hydromatic 4T60(the bonnie has a 4t60 in it) , both are 4 speed automatics. You DO NOT want a 4T60-E, it's computer controlled and will cause you headache after headache. I've not seen a "kit" for swapping 90 degree V6's, only small block 8's. Expect to do a lot of custom wiring and metal fabricating, but swaps can and have been done. Hope this helps....

Wanted to buy: 86-88 Fiero GT, 5 speed, fixer-upper. Blown motor, no motor? No problem! Rusty unibodies need not apply. 74-79 Ramcharger or 100, slant or no motor - not interested in v8 - Overdrive 4 is a big plus, NO hopeless rust buckets!!! 3Rd gen F body floor pans/camaro door skin (L) Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????

Re: 94 3800 Supercharged in 87 Fiero
The Fiero club in Richmond has a member (was president, but don't know current status), named Curry. Curry has an '87 with the 3800 SC (from a '94, actually) and a 5-speed from a Beretta. The shop that did the conversion is in Pennsylvania. Beautiful job, FAST car!
Look up the Fiero club in Richmond (Virginia) and see if you can contact him. I don't have that info handy. Jim |

Talk to Todd at the fiero farm in Missouri, dropped a 3800 SC into his and works on Fieros in the area. He's a great help. Just doa search for fiero farm and you should find it easily.

Re: 94 3800 Supercharged in 87 Fiero
oops the 4th generation interior, just started the door panels on mine, look for 98-02 TA interior, dash panel, center console and such. Just modify to your car... I just did the drivers side door panel to start and need to get it re-upolstered and the door switches installed. I have a link with instructions for the dash install, it's a little tricky but it's gonna be a garaged winter here in KC. I'll have some pictures of the first door panel as soon as I get my switches here...
