Gran Torino Gas Tank

Does anyone know where I can get a new gas tank for my 73 Gran Torino station wagon? The tank mounts behind the quarter panel on the driver's side. My tank is completely shot. It leaks in about seven different places, and I don't know where to find a new one. Thanks for any help.

Try to locate one on Ebay they may be able to help you out,,If not do a Google search for Torino parts online. Good luck!!

Thanks for the advice, but I haven't been able to locate a tank anywhere on the internet. I did, however, manage to patch my tank. I coated the outside of the tank with this stuff called Herculiner or something like that. It's for lining the bed of a pickup truck. It's been about two days and it still isn't leaking.

You might try www.autokrafters.com There should be an 800 # on the site. I have gotten several new AND used parts from them for my '72 Gran Torino Sport. Good luck. J Murray
