Newbie headlight question

My daughter just bought a 2000 GT and the headlight lenses are just starting to peel. Is there a fix for this? Suggestions? TIA.

Curt.

Re: Newbie headlight question

Same thing with mine. What I would do is get a new pair of projecter headlights. That way, it looks better and no worry about the peeling.

Okay with the projector idea. Is there a preferred vendor for these?

Thanks.

Curt.

Re: Newbie headlight question

There are several style out on EBay for excellent prices. Fitment is generally very good also. There are two issues you may need to be aware of though:

1) Many aftermarket headlights leak. The "leak" usually lets in minor condensation that goes away after a while, it's not a big problem.

2) Some basic splicing of the wiring harness may need to be done. I hate wokring with wires, but the swap was so easy, I did mine myself.
