Ferrari Dino Enthusiast?
http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ08256
Is that a new reissue? Is it really the enthusiast kit? Or just the last reissue with a new box? Also, is the 1/16 scale fujimi F40 the same as the revell ag one? http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ10154 Thanks |

Re: Ferrari Dino Enthusiast?
reissue.
1/16 Enthusiast are the first kit Fujimi mad a while ago, when they had money for their tooling. Look a peice, good details. With some work, they look good. I don't think it's the same as Revell. It's surely made by fujimi I have made the F40LM and liked it.

Re: Ferrari Dino Enthusiast?
The Dino kit he is talking about is not curbside - 243 parts?
Its Enthusiast kit all the way.

I think it is Enthusiast, as you can see the hood and trunk is not moulded into the bodyshell.
The 1/16th is not the same as the Revell as Revell's kit is 1/12. |

Re: Ferrari Dino Enthusiast?
Fujimi released a curbside kit of the Dino early this year (or late last year; I can't remember exactly). It sold out in a couple of months. This new release is the full detail enthusiast version and was just reissued in the last few weeks. I have a few on their way to me.
The 1/16 kits are also in the enthusiast series and are very well detailed. They are some of the nicest large scale kits around; far nicer than the Revell or Italeri kits. Now I just wish they would reissue the 1/16 F40LM :-) Regards, Ron Racing Miniatures www.racingminiatures.com |

[quote] FYI, Fujimi's curbside kits that have been derived from the Enthu kits share the same body parts, so separate body panels can't be a deciding factor. It's not just the Dino kit, but the curbside Countach and 911 kits have separate body panels, too. I believe the last reissue of the curbside Dino was March 2004. I remember seeing some leftovers at hobby stores in Tokyo, when I visited the city in May 2004. This reissue is definitely the Enthu version. BTW, just like their Countach variations, it takes a lot of practice (literally!) to put the Dino chassis & interior assembly into the body. Good luck, everyone.
