90 dodge 3.9 no power at coil

same old song wont start.no spark at plug.no spark at coil.no voltage at coil.did the 5 sec voltage test.o volts.tested the asr there working.wires look good.whats with that pickup coil in the dist.on fords when they go bad it wont start.

checked coil on other machine works good.would that hal sensor kill the power to the coil.

same problem

the signal to fire the coil comes from the asd relay.the relay receives signals from the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors then supplies battery voltage to the coil.Open the hood reach in and turn the key to run and listen carefully for the relay to pull in.if the relay doesn't pull in two thing--bad relay or bad sensors

its probably the hall effect pickup coil in the dis, you won't get any spark activity or power to the coil if it is not working. They hardly ever give a fault code.
