Question 01 Pontiac GrandAM Problem

Me and a friend wired a Kicker SoloBaric L7 to his stock Headunit in his 01 GrandAM. We used the Line Output Converter to get RCA's attached. They are wired Rear Right Positive=Dark Blue, Rear Right Negative=Light Blue, Rear Left Positive=Brown, Rear Left Negative=Yellow, and Remote from Amp is wired to Pink (Power Antenna Turn On). It works and the amp shuts off just like it supposed, The problem is everytime the door opens the amp turns on for a minute even though the key isnt turned on. But the real problem is After a few start ups/off on the car there will be no sound from the speakers at all and you have to pull out the headunit and remove the harness from the back, plug it back in and it will work for a few more times. What the heck could be causing that and how can I fix those 2 problems? Please Help Thanks.

You think its the ground?? Wouldnt that just turn the sub off? The headunit is lit up and on but no sound will come out any of the speakers after a few starts of the car. Like I said it works for 2 or 3 starts of the car then the harness needs to be pulled out and put back in.

maybe you don't have the power hooked up right ..... there is one that goes to 12V that's has power all the time, there is another that has power only when the ignition switch is on

I don't think its the power, cause everything has power when its supposed to. Even still would incorrect power to the amp cause the speakers not to work inside the car?

I dont have speaker wire running through the car, only rca's power and ground. It was working at first then after it was turned off it stopped working until the harness is pulled out and plugged back in then it works again until again the car is turned off
