Keyless entry and power seat questions

Hey everyone. I've got a question that maybe someone else has come across. In my '02 Z-71 every time I turn my truck off my passenger seat moves all the way forward. I know that this is an option but I have searched through my owners manual and I can't find out how to turn this off. I'm worried about it killing my power seat motor early because it runs more often than it normal should. Also I've got a question concerning my keyless entry. If I leave my truck running and go inside the house for a moment I can't lock my doors because my key fob won't unlock the doors with the engine running. I'm sure that it is a safety feature to help deter theft or something but does anybody know a way to bypass this so that I can unlock my doors with my fob with the engine running? Thanks in advance.
