What are the pros and cons about an ls/vtec motor and is it good for forced induction, how is the reliability and what price would i be looking at for one or to build one. Thanks in advance

On some of the sights ive seen it says it will run anywhere from $1300-$1700 for everything. Pros are it will produce more torque and hp than the GSR...it's about 196. using the B16 head is great. It can be bored out to make a 2.0LSVTEC which is pretty damn fast. Cons are some people says it's just not as a reliable motor as one built by honda. All LSVTEC is is basically the B17A1(92-93 GSR motor) Some people have complained with using the GSR head.
With the B16A head(1.6L) and a LS block(1.8L)...putting the two together almost basically makes a 1.7L which is the 2nd gen GSR motor. Sorry if i couldnt help ya.
