crap...left window down

i left my driverside window down last night. it rained. a lot.

how water-proof is the compartement? the seats and a little of the rug is damp to the touch, but not totally soaked as it seams. there was water droplets on the steering wheel and on the door arm rest.

do i need to worry about any window regulators or relays and the power locks? are there relays inside the door? what electrical stuff should i worry about?

screw the speakers, that will give me a reason to purchase new ones...but what about the rest?

on my way to the store to buy a gallon of febreeze...cuz it's gonna mildew, i just know it...

>sigh<

Re: crap...left window down

Just air it out. Park in the sun with the window open.

I do this about once a year. The front seat will be soaked, or I leave the Sunroof open.

No worries.

Re: crap...left window down

I left my passenger window down at the end of last summer - I had a flood on the passenger compartment.

Pulled back the carpet, stuck a fan on the passenger seat and during the sunny days, left the door open - took 3-4 days to thoroughly dry out.

Mind you I had SOAKED that carpet in a 2-hour down pour
