Hey everyone....I have a 2003 Grand Prix. The whole mirror fell off. I'm trying to get the actual mirror button (the silver part that adheres to the window) out of the bracket so I can adhere it back to the window. There is a screw in the bracket that I've taken out and the button still doesn't budge. I'm trying to AVOID taking my car to the dealer to have it fixed when I know its probably something VERY simple to fix. Any ideas? BTW....remember the good ole days when they just slipped right off...wish it was still like that!!!
Thanks!!

Re: My Whole Rearview MIrror Fell Off...Please Help
The button should slip right out, but sometimes it needs a little nudging. Use a small screwdriver to lightly pry it out. Been there done that.

Re: My Whole Rearview MIrror Fell Off...Please Help
Jenn,
Should have told you on last post, but forgot. After you glue the button back on the windshield, let it set for about 24 hours before you put the mirror back on. Found this is the best way to do it. From the time of your last post, you have probably rehung the mirror? If you haven't - great. Otherwise I would take it off and let the button set for awhile. SORRY I didn't mention this before!!!
