jdm 240sx fron clip
Hey my friends.
i sold my my car so im looking for a 240sx 89,91,92...(s13) the thing is that i want to get a sr20det. so i have this shop http://www.xatracing.com/sr20det.htm in my neibourhood that sells sr20's, rb25's, or jdm front clips with the engine and tranny, and its a lot cheaper if you get the front clip..so i was thinking of gettin a 240 that has front eng damage, cut the front and weld the clip.. what do you guys think? should i go trough all the trouble, or should i just get a sr20det. and swap it in? any thoughts are welcome  thank you in advance

thats stupid. it will cost you more to get it to line up right and then it will be weak from being welded.
just wait for a good clean car. it will be better in the end than buying a shitbox and making it work

Besides, clips don't come with body parts, they realised it's more profitable to take them all off and sell them as "conversion kits".

I would buy the clip, then your sure you have everything you need, but that's just me.
