Air conditioning fuse 15 or 30 amp? *Problem Solved*

The A/C on my 1994 Metro was not working when I bought the car. I checked the fuses and there was a 30 amp fuse where it called for a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box with two relays in it under the hood on the drivers side near the strut tower. Of course I put in a 15 amp fuse. Then I found the actual problem was the fan switch so I fixed that with a zip-tie like everyone else. The air conditioner blew cold air for a minute then blew the 15 amp fuse. Question is the fuse supposed to be 30 or 15 amps? If it is supposed to be 15 amps why is it blowing the fuse? If it is supposed to be 30 amps why does it say 15 amps?

I found the problem. A small stone had gotten stuck between the fan shroud and one of the blades on the fan that cools the A/C condenser. The fan couldn't turn and the fuse (15 amp) blew.
