2 sealed 15'' Comp Vr's vs. 1 15'' ported L5
A friend of mine has 2 15'' comp VR's in a sealed box and it was hitting very hard so I wanted to know if I got one 15'' ported L5 if I would be able to compete with that? He has a (I think) VD1000 and I was going to get a Hifonics TX1505 which is supposed to be 1000wrms at 2 ohms. His car is a 2000 Taurus and mine is a 2000 Monte Carlo SS. Also, would 2 10'' L5's have more cone area than 1 15'' l5?

Re: 2 sealed 15'' Comp Vr's vs. 1 15'' ported L5
1 15" has more cone area then 2 10's. 2 12's has more cone area then 1 15". 2 ported 12's (of a higher model especially) should beat two sealed 15's, so I say go for 2 12's. A single 15 should come pretty DANG close if not beat out his setup.....depending on the install.
