Automatic transmission kicks up
I have a brand new Dodge Neon 2005 with a 2000 SOHC. It has only 12500 Km and when Iám driving at low speeds it makes a rough change from first to second gear and does a kick very odd.
It does the same when the shift is comming from tird to second. I dont want to to the dealear wiathout a idea of what is happening.?? banghead: Any idea...Tanks |

Re: Automatic transmission kicks up
I just traded my neon 2002 in, but to be truthful I had constant issues with my four speed auto transmission shifting rough. The dealer replaced the front pump once, also there is a relay by your brake some where that was replaced. Give them hell but be polite. If it is under warrenty, don't stop till you are satisfied.
Good luck Wayne |

Re: Automatic transmission kicks up
sounds like you need to adjust the bands
and also check your fluid level |
