Question .60 trim t3/t04 turbo?

I was offered a new t3/t4 hybrid turbo today for $200. the guy said that it has a .60ar intake and a .48ar compressor. is that a good deal for the money, and also i havent seen it yet so he is going to bring it to me on monday, what are a few things that i should look for. I know i should check shaft play but other than that i dont know.

Re: .60 trim t3/t04 turbo?

I wouldnt even consider it until you know what the hot side is. 60 trim is the compressor wheel, .48 is the compressor housing (to4b IIRC). What turbine wheel and housing? That is what is going to determine how well the turbo spools or how much it lags.

Re: .60 trim t3/t04 turbo?

t3 turbine housing would typically be a .63, not a .60. What is the wheel?
