1998 caravan parking brake

Cannot get to hold, replaced rear shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, front pedal assembly, remachined rear drums, have rears adjusted snug. Any special way to set parking brake auto adjuster after work, or any known issues.

Re: Re: 1998 caravan parking brake

Pedal holds all the way down and stays locked until released, but vehicle rolls in drive at idle. Can't figure out how to get slack out of cables, you see all the new parts. Do I have stretched e brake cables? no one seems to have seen that.

Bottom and top struts are between rear shoes correctly, my problem is to figure out where my excess slack is coming from at e brake. e brake is self adjusting through loaded spring at e brake pedal.
