I need help!

how do i get a stripped oil pan nut out?? it's completely rounded off

Vice grips! Or if there is a Sears or decent auto parts store close by then a bolt extractor kit will do the trick nicely.They vary on prices but if you go with Craftsman at least you get a lifetime warranty

Agreed on the vice grips. I had to do that with my wife's car and then just bought a new bolt for it.

should the car be hot when i do this?? we tried it when the engine was cold and i had three different people try to get it off and it won't even budge.

Hot no that sucks!Warm yes.You may want to take a hammer and tap on the head of the bolt to help ease the removal.

vice grips will work if u get em on there tight enough, spray some penatrant or use hammer and chizzle and pound it loose

All the above can work. I have aways used penitrating oil and let sit for a while. With the engine cold, use a propane torch around the plug and grab real tight with a big set of vise grips.
