airbags in the car!

i was wondering if someone could point me in the direction or tell me what year BMWs had airbags standard? maybe you can tell me what models also? thanks a lot.

I believe the late model E30's 89-91 had air bags which wen deployed the gasses from the bag burnt your face. Lovely huh.
