Stock block w/ forged internals...how much potential?

I'm just curious to know what a stock block with forged internals is capable of handling. Power wise. When does that block start to give out? 500hp 600hp? The reason i ask is because that's what i have right now. A stock blocked 331 with forged internals and AFR heads. It put down 352rwhp. I'm thinking about putting on a Vortech s/c with 5psi. If i do that it'll put power to around 400 at the wheels. And close to 500 at the flywheel. Do you guys think my block will withstand that kind of power? I do have a maincap girdle (though its disputed whether or not Main cap girdles actually work) on the bottom end. The crank i think is steel but not forged like the rods and pistons.

what do you all think? can it handle that power?

5 psi should get you a little more than 400rwhp, with that being said, your block will be on borrowed time.

A stock block can take gobs and gobs of power that people don't realize.
The thing is you have to lift the thing out, tear it apart, enforce it, and do all sorts of other stuff so it doesn't rip itself apart.

With all the time and money you put into it a new block would probably be better. Unless you're racing and your class is stock blocks.
