Talking Pontiac Grand Am 1995 Pw Dr Lk 2.3ltr

There is no power going to the power door locks or the cigarette lighter. The fuses are fine. The power door locks use to work. Are they connected to the ignition switch. The car use to unlock when you shut it off. Now it does nothing. The buttons on the door don't even work. This is my 17 yr daughters car and I am concerned for her safty can any one help me Thanks

i had the same problem and it WAS a fuse...so if ur absolutely sure that its not a fuse then i dont have an answer for ya. But double check because the door locks and cigarette lighter run on the same one.

Look for a dime or penny in your cigarette lighter, thats what happened to mine, but instead of blowing a fuse it kept tripping a circuit breaker.

The circuit breaker for mine is in the fuse box, but in 95 things were in different places as they were using the remaining old parts, if they were not around they used the next generation 96-98 parts, so some things are kind of weird.

Skybum an Gase you guys seem to know what you are talking about where else would the circuts breakers be if they are not in the fuse box. Like I have said I have power to the lock fuse but no power to the unlock fuse. Are the breaker sthe Silver relys in the fuse panel.
