Re: single wiper on a 89 civic

You take the drivers side off, you put the drivers side blade on the passenger side (just the blade, not the whole arm), then you adjust the passenger side up so that it sweeps all the way across. Its annoying while driving, I kinda like the way it looks- I had it done for a while on mine. Ultimatly it gets old fast when driving in the rain, and passengers complain about it.

Re: single wiper on a 89 civic

im talking about the one where the passenger side wiper sits in its origional position but it still wipes all the way across the winshield. It involves cutting and moving the wiper motor or something like that. I KNOW WHAT YALL ARE TALKING ABOUT. THE ONE THAT GETS ON YOUR PASSENGERS NERVES.

And it's not even efficient. Think about it. When you normally would use the intermittant function, you would now have to leave the wipers on... especially the faster you go. I had it this way and it sucked. When I finally opened my eyes and noticed that it wasn't actually a full conversion and the driver side wiper bolt was there and turning, 2 wipers were put on. Why they only left defroster holes on the driver side of the scuttle is beyond me...
