wierd A/C Problem

I have a '92 1500 350 manual tranny 4x4 pickup that I picked up yesterday. When I tried the air conditioning....the "A/C" portion of the display just blinks for a few minutes. I didn't know if there was a coolant sensor that was telling me that it was low or some other issue.

If anyone has seen this or has any thoughts about it...pleast let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Josh

Found this in another forum and verified it with a buddy at Chevy....I'll try it tomorrow and post back.
