Am I Asking for Trouble?
I have a '01 Ram 1500 that I plan to put a 8' Western Pro Plow on. It is my understanding that this plow recommended for 3/4 ton and up trucks. Thus, by putting it on a 1/2 ton what suspension modifications should I make? I was planning on 2.5" lift springs + timbrens. Will this be enough or should I consider air bags/shocks?

Re: Am I Asking for Trouble?
First off, what does the Plow weight? Second, get the Curb Weight for your front axle, subtract that from your front GAWR. If the plow weights more than what is left over, then you'll be overloading the the axle bearings and other components using that plow.
