Question Lingenfelter MOTOR

I am looking for some help...I "acquired" a '91 Corvette with a Lingenfelter motor in it and I am looking for someone that would be interested in buying this vehicle. I am a woman that knows very little about these cars but I have a 40th Anniversary Corvettes that I love. This car is too fast for me and I refuse to drive it. It is sitting here waiting for someone to love it. I had no idea what I bought when I purchased it - it was supposed to be a surprise for my husband. I am nervous to drive it because it is way too powerful for me and too much car for what my husband wants (that is why I bought the 40th). I feel foolish but my intentions were good - I wanted to buy him a car for our Wedding Anniversary and I bought him a "BEAR". Now he has the other and is very content but I have this vehicle that is a shame to waste. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Lingenfelter MOTOR

How much did you pay for it, and how much are you looking to get for it?

Your husband is crazy. I would be so happy to get a gift like that.

He really doesn't have enough time for a car like that - he's a workaholic and just likes to go for a ride and relax. I paid $12,500 for the car. It's a long story on how I originally got the car (a family member had it and needed money) and unknowingly I bought a "hot rod" instead of a pleasure car. I would like to get what I have in it and from what I have heard - it's a steal but I'm not ready to deal with all the "tire kickers" by putting it in a swap sheet or paper. I may try Ebay - or a friend said he would take it to Carlisle, Pa. I just don't want to deal with it.

Re: Lingenfelter MOTOR

I understand. A little too rough around the edges for a daily driver? If you really want to sell the car on here, it would help to throw up a couple of pics. Also, there are alot of Vette guys over on
www.corvettekillstories.com that might be interested.

I would love to take it off of your hands, but I just finished college and am a little strapped for cash.

Good luck

Post it over here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19 in the C4 for sale section. I'd bet you can sell it in less than a week there.

Thumbs up Re: Lingenfelter MOTOR

Thanks Morley. I will try that at a later time. I have someone interested at the moment and won't do anything till I give him all the pics and info he needs. I appreciate your time.
