boost / air filters

two quick questions,
what is the boost pressure on a 1.8t?
also K&N air filters on 1.8T's is it worth it? ie can you feel an inprovement in performance?

the K&N from what ive heard sounds nice. at high rpms you can hear the induction sound and a throaty sound as you lay off the throttle. that is alot of work for just an air filter. i am getting one in about to weeks. as long as you know how to change an air filter you'll be fine if u dont learn! ure gonna fell a sliightly lighter throttle and a good amount of tourque dont expect too much tho but hey for 50 buks it does its job well

stock boost is 12psi I believe.

Get a cheap ebay cold air intake for 50.00, it will give you 100% more power increase than a k/n drop in pannel filter.

Only prob with ebay is the heat that these cars produce will kill that POS metal thing you get! TRUST ME tried that threw it away. got an good one from
