some other advice would to be select a few "safe" schools. Schools that you know you WILL get into. that way you can at least still be in school. studies have shown that kids that go straight to college from HS do better than kids who take a break between.

another good idea about going to a CC or a school that will widely accept people would be the possibility that you bump up your GPA and then the school will look at the transfer transcripts and see that you can actually apply yourself. they'll probably look at HS ones too, but realize that once you got to college your worked your booty off. not to mention the scholarship possibilities (don't know if tuition is a deal or not, it was for me and i went to a CC then got a full ride when i transfered). just some ideas
