1994 Century hood cable
I also tried to open the hood and the release cable broke. I took out the grill but can't see how to pop it open. Has anyone got a secret to open the hood? Thanks.

Look under the radiator core support, you should see the end of the cable. If you can see it, you should be able to see two little tabs holding it in. Take a straight blade screwdriver and pop it towards the drivers side. That should release the hood release.

seeing the cable is alread bad where it goes to the firewall pull on the remainder cable .if there is none to grab cut the sleave where you can get to it. but get a new one to replace it when you get it open
