loooking for engine
hey my stepdad has a 93 sl that needs some work on the motor. the guys that had it b4 us owed us about $750 so we got their car but they dawg the hell out of it. anyways im thinking of sellin my mustang and buying the 3kgt from my stepdad but i was wondering if yall knew of a site that i could get a new motor for. i looked on ebay and they had an sl motor with 42k miles for like $800 and a vr4 motor for $2500 new. i dont know anything about these cars except i want one. lol. are those decent prices or does somebody know where i could get a motor for a better price. im also wondering just what is needed to do a vr4 swap. thanks in advance

well to add to this, if you want something a little cheaper and used, e-mail stever from www.speedfreakracing.net (i believe is the website). He sells used, low-mileaged, good working engines all the time. As far as a vr-4 swap, check out the forced induction section on 3SI.
