Purge hoses

Hello everybody:

I have a 97 Voyager (the short) 3.3 4 speed tranny.
I have an akward problem that I have not been able to resolve.

It is related to the GAS TANK Filler pipe, It has attatched 2 more pipes one is about 5/8" and the other is about 3/8" or 1/2" that I believe are the purge pipes.

Well these are just hanging there with rubber hose conections to nowhere, that is, I believe they have to have some rubber hoses conected to somewhere, but alas every time I fill the tank when filled to the top, the gas pours from the 5/8, it does not even gurgle or nothing, just spits the gas when filled.

I have just lowered the gas tank and I just don't see any piece of pipe protruding that could lead me to say AHA!, so there you are.

I know there must be 2 pieces of pipe protruding from somewhere one 5/8" and the other 1/2" or 3/8", even looked for pipes underneath all the van that could lead me to connect any of these pipes, but again all pipes little or big have their own rubber hose connected.

I have the Chilton and the Haynes but neither one of them provides any "photo" as to where those two pipes should be connetced.

I believe that the previous owner took the van to probably service the gast tank and the mechanic (as there are many may of them) neglected or forgot to connect those two pipes to somwhere.

PLEASE HELP!!
