Warning's aren't anything unless the cop actually issues you a written warning. Then it goes in the computer. Verbal warnings don't mean anything expect if you get pulled over by the same cop and they happen to remember you. A guy i know got pulled over on a trip and got a warning. Like 5 hours later on his way back, he got pulled over again by the same cop. The cop gave him 2 tickets for speeding, one for when he pulled him over earlier in the day, and another one for right then. Lucky dude, got both dropped because the cop didn't show up for court. I dont see how MN cops are anal. I live in MN and ive gotten about 3 warnings and a bunch of tickets (about 6-7 atleast). Ive got respect for cops that dont act like idiots.

Example, other night i was bringing my GF home and stopped at the gas station. Its 2am and i pull up right next to the building where technically its a firelane that says no parking. Now right when i get out, my GF is still in the truck with it running. Cops pulls up and pretty much yells get the hell over here. I walk to his window and he says, "what does that sign say?" Now i didnt even have to go look to know it said No Parking, i goto this station atleast 3-4 times a week. I said okay, no problem ill move. Obviously that was the wrong answer. He then gets pissed and starts going on and on about how if the gas station was to have a fire they wouldnt be able to get a truck in because of where im parked. I was just waiting for him to pull me over as a moved into a spot for not putting on my seat belt while doing so.

When i finally got inside the guy working asked me about it and said how big of a dick that cop was. Some cops can just be dicks. Others may just be having bad days. Usually if im polite and respectful i get the same in return. Just because your given a ticket doesnt mean the cop was being a dick. Plenty of times ive been given tickets but the cop was very nice and wasnt mean about anything,
