92 Accord Lx--How to remove Left Kick Panel

I am replacing my Main Relay.

I can't get the driver'skick panel off. It had one screw that I removed. How far am I supposed to pull it out? I don't want to break the clips.

It feels like it is going to break if I pull too hard.

If it's the one I think you mean (covering up the fuses) then mine wasn't even held with screws. I think it had a plastic turn latch (can't tell you any more - the car's gone).

You are thinking of the fuse box panel.

You don't remove the kick panel to remove the main relay. It is above the inside fuse box and above another larger module that you have to remove to get to it. It is held in with one screw and the connector.

Ummm - where did the main relay creep in? He didn't mention that.

OK - then the panel is probably anchored under the door sill plastic. (I hate the way you have to take off a whole string of things to get where you want. I once had to remove the gear shift lever to replace the right rear tire )

Okay I brought it to my mechanic and he put in a new relay.

He had a hell of a time too! He couldn't get the panel off either. I am talking about the big panel below the steering wheel. It has one screw to remove, but when you try to pull the panel off the two clips wouldn't let go. Here is a picture of the panel.

My mechanic managed to remove the Main Relay, somehow without removing the panel. It's a tight fit in there.
