98 accord v6 ex/ ac problem

My uncles 1998 accord was in an accident recently, his right fender/hood/front bumper were totaled, also his a/c. we fixed the body part but the a/c wouldn't work. we changed the piping that is from the compressor to the car? the freon was recently refilled. we have no idea what the problem may be... anyone got any ideas for us to double check?

Re: 98 accord v6 ex/ ac problem

start by checking the parts of the a/c system that may have been damaged from the accident....condensor or reciever drier. does the compressor clutch kick on? if not check fuse...then check to see if the connector is damaged to the compressor. since this looks to be a front end accident....make sure the low pressure switch on the reciever drier isn't damaged.

if it's blowin a fuse....the accident may have damaged the wire and is currently shorting. i would check wires to the compressor and fans
