My van was driving fine, I got home and went inside. About 20 minutes later I went out to move my van so my brother could park, and it wouldn't start.
The lights, radio, "key in ignition" sounds were working so it's not the battery. When we turn the key, there is no clicking sound, and the starter doesn't move or make any noise. What are the possible problems? |

Same thing happened to me the other day, tapped on the starter with a hammer and it started right up and hasnt given me any trouble since. Hopefully your problem is something simple like mine was
BTW mine is a 92 Caravan with 3.3L |

take a test light and go from the little wire that goes to the starter to a good ground and see if it lights up when you turn the key. if it does it is probably a bad starter.

no start
I battled with a starter problem for quite some time. Refer to "a bad starter" and you'll learn more. The bottom line..Get a clicker fixer kit. The kit includes a replacement set of contacts and a new plunger. I had 135K miles on my '94 voyager. When I removed the old contacts, I could then understand why I was having start problems.

Re: 92, 3.3L Grand Voyager wont start
make sure you do the test like he says to rule out igniton switch or starter relay problems.
