looking to buy a 2003 Grand Pix GT- Opinions please

I am planning to get rid of my POS lemon 2001 Taurus ses in the next few months. I like the grand Prix GT ( not GTP because of fuel mileage, i have a heavy foot)It has good fuel mileage and good power. What i am really interested in is the reliability because of what this last car has put me through. Are there any common problems for 2003? what have you guys run into as far as problems with your cars? Thanks ahead of time for your info.

the only issues with the 01-03 GP's are the hub bearings ( the abs sensors in them are problematic) and the blower resistor (it controls the fan speed). Other than that, the cars are pratically bulletproof and very dependable

Chris, your offer is tempting, but i have to wait till spring. Wife's getting her Degree for nursing, so shes' not workin much now. After she's done in spring its a go. Besides from WI to NY is a bit much travel wise.

Any thing elso to expect? Out of curiosity what are you GT drivers getting for MPG?? Thanks again.

I have an 00 GT and with hilly terrain, rush hour/heavy traffic, driving around a school campus and interstate driving I get around 22 MPG
