okay-i'm reading along....trying to solve my problems. I want to read my codes. The illustration I found here is different from mine. Where can I find another illustration so I know which to jump? I still need to find a J38197 tool to pull the harmonic balancer. Thought Lisle 49500 was the animal I needed but it isn't. What's going on? Why is everything different for this beast than what is normal? Arghhh!! lol It's driving me mad!

What engine, 3.8 or 3.1?

For the 3.8 engine, -94 and -95 Trans Sport/Silhouette/Lumina Van you need a scanner tool, or an interface cable + software to hook up your PC, to pull the DTCs. The paper clip trick only works for -92 and -93.

To verify this, please tell how your OBD plug looks, and which pins have wires?
