will this sensor keep my truck from starting??? my truck won't start and this is the only code i can get out of it P0102. which is the MAF low ferquinzy code.

the service engine soon light is on but i havn't noticed any other yet. the truck doens't even try and fire. it just turns over. its a 2002 silverado 4.3 v6 auto by the way.
