90 cav- they're trying to cheat me
I wrecked my 90 cav Z24. not my fault. but i know they are gonna try to screw me out of my money. I know for a fact that it came stock with alot of performance parts, steering, suspension. etc. also the two color paint job is stock as well. its worth alot more than the blue book price, but i just can't find proof. anyone know anything please get back to me

Sorry man, the Blue Book is a good guide line. Obviously they wont be exact on with the market trends, but they are usually pretty close especially on a 15 year old car. Assuming 100k miles and stick in "Good" condition (better condition than it probably was in) with no options it blue booked valued at $790 and with more normal options at $905. The z24's may have been "sporty" stock in 1990, but they are not exactly performance cars now. How much were they going to give you for it? My advice: just take what you can and get a new car. A little money is better than none right?

the blue book price is $1,800, because of the condition it was in before the wreck. it just bothers me cause it was in more than good condition, and only a few of them were made. well this model any ways. They came stock with all the same performance parts as a z28 Camaro, it was a little thing the car company was trying to do to find a way to make a smaller cheaper version of a Camaro at that time. Totally diff engines, it only had a 3.1. but damn that baby ran like no other. its just sad to see it go for less than what it was worth because i can't find any proof of this. and insurance companies are bastards anyway. but you're right, thats better than no money at all.
p.s im a chick
