engine problem
97 integra lack of power and sounds like a briggs and stratton motor coming out of the tailpipe. not an exhaust problem, nor fuel filter. engine sounds fine, no knocking or whining and spark plugs look normal. any ideas?

are you sure its not your exhaust
Have you check every single bolt on you exhaust, cuase I got in an accident and it knocked one of my bolts from cat to the rest of my exhaust off. It sounded like a race prepped beetle!!! I replaced the bolt and all was fine after that!

check your exhaust....have some one rev it and smell the fumes if they smell like rotten eggs and ass your cat is clogged and it is time for a new one. this happened to me. it sounded like shit and smelled terrible. got a high flow and it is great.
