1999 Neon shakes & jerky at 50 mph

Works fine at lower speeds , seems to me like it's slighty (jerky) losing power at 50-55, shakes, runs better at 60mph.

It could be your lower control arm bushings need to be replcaed. However, here is additional information which may help cure the problem without replacing the bushings:

The Neon is *very* sensitive to wheel balance. Have your wheels rebalanced to the nearest 1/8 ouce instead of 1/4 ounce, and make sure the machine has been calibrated recently.

Make sure that your tire pressures are even between the two front tires.

If you have aftermarket wheels there is some other things you can do.
