Am I the only one that hates it when people move people's post. yeah his question was probably better left in the nissan forum but they don't know anymore about their cars there than here trust me. I'v had to answer some pretty ridiculous questions my point is hey he may have posted it in the wrong spot but didn't his question get answered and isn't that what these forums are about????????

but sr20 you need ecu and harness. he said he doesnt want to do that. oh yeah and dmhaar, there is no swap for your car that doesnt require changing mounts and harnesses and trannys and stuff. (guys who said get a ga16de...thats what a 95 sentra has stock...i hope you were sarcastic)

yeah for some reaosn I thought he had a 93 lol yeah good point. The sr20 is definately your best bet thats what everyone with a sentra that wants an engine swap does supposedly it's one of the best engines ever made lol... but I heard that from a nissan forum lol so take that for what its worth

If you put a sr20det into an se-r, will the transmision and ecu work, what all needs to be replaced to long block it

transmission and ecu will not work
you maybe can keep the ecu if you rewire the harnesses that are different between the engine and reflash the ecu but that will cost more than just getting an sr ecu
