96 Maxima vs unknown bmw m3 sedan...WTF?

Well on Sunday I was headin out to play ball and my car had a flat so i took mommys car..lol... and had a little run in with a an M3 sedan..dont know the year or if it was rebaged or some shit.....So im driving and aproaching a red light so I start to slow down and theres a Bmw at the light waiting. As i get closer to the light it turns green and he waits for me to get like 2 cars behind him and he goes for it...I pass him slowly so that his front end is at my door and i hear him gun so i floor it 2...imediatly he jumps about a 1/2 a car in front but he aint going nowhere we stay like that for min then as were aproaching a fuckin railroad crossing i start pullin slowly, were doin like 80 we kinda jump the little lump and i get in front right at that moment and we both slam on the brakes cuz theres a light right ahead...So my question is are these sedan m3s suppose to be quick? cuz he wasn't leavin my like i thought he would...plus i was in a 96 maxima auto...not in my car...comments please

Hmm.....

My guess it was a dude who tought it's cool to badge M3 on a regular 3. It happens all the time here in Belgium. Lol. I even know a dude with an old 316 (the slowest) with at least 20 M3 signs all over and in the car.

rebadged cars are stupid....if anything people should make their cars look slower.....take an M3 and put a 325i badge on it....stuff like that....most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference until they're looking at your tailights with their mouth open...

Well.. they did make a 4 door E36 M3 in like '97....

Maybe it was one of them? I see them from time to time.

They only came in auto, even though they weight about the same as a Coupe. Mid 14 second cars. Maybe it was a rebaged though.

it was probably a rebadged 328 or 325...I think even the slowest of the E36 M3's woulda pulled on you, especially at higher speeds.

With mods...won't see very many cali-spec automatic 5th gens break into the 14's, unless they are a GXE with steel wheels, I have the "big" 17s....y-pipe is the best mod you can get for our cars...15 whp gain.
